Milan is thinking about the next season and positions that need to be reinforced. A new midfielder is on the list and looks like Milan is waiting for a better price for the Chelsea man Bakayoko.
Tiemoue Bakayoko and Milan meet each over in 2018 when Leonardo brings him from Chelsea on a one year loan. Milan fans were in love with his style of play but the management decided not to activate the option to buy him and he left back to Chelsea.
He was not able to find his play in England so Chelsea sends him back to Monaco but also on a year loan. Monaco refused to activate the buy option and this summer Bakayoko arrived back in London and looks like he is out of Lampard’s plans for the next season.

Milan presented interest in the person of Bakayoko and is ready to present an offer this summer but is waiting for a better price from Chelsea. Bakayoko will fit perfectly in the Milan formation 4-2-3-1, and Pioli will have more space in midfield in order to rotate the trio Bennacer, Kessie, Bakayoko.
Biglia, Bonaventura, Paqueta, and Krunic will leave Milan this summer most likely so a new midfielder sign is a must. Milan is monitoring a few players for the midfield: Tonali, Bakayoko, Koopmeiners, and Pessina.
All of them sound interesting but Bakayoko should be the first option. He showed in 2018 that he can play at a high level for Milan.
Let’s hope we will see him soon in the red-black form one more time.
