AC Milan are set to go through yet another revolution this summer, with Ralf Rangnick set to replace Stefano Pioli and Paolo Maldini in a dual role at the club. However, could there be much more to this new ‘year zero’, perhaps a change of ownership?
Bernard Arnault is a name that has been mentioned in rumours with relation to Milan in the past couple of months. The first rumours date back to almost a year ago from journalist Fabio Ravezzani and they continued insistently throughout the first half of the Serie A season.
However, either the billionaire himself (via Forbes) or his family members denied any possible involvement of the family with the Rossoneri club.
But during the last couple of weeks rumours emerged once again from La Repubblica about the possibility of a takeover of Milan by the Frenchman. And speculations could also be fueled by the fact that Arnault is currently in Italy.
According to Il Mattino (via milanlive.it), the billionaire arrived in the country with his gigantic 150 million yacht on the Campania coast near Palinuro. The question now remains: has Arnault come to Italy for business or for a simple vacation?
